Questions? We have answers.

Why are you converting to a new Debit card processor?

This new partnership will allow Climb to provide upgraded functionality to cardholders, plus increased security.

Will the new card have a different card number?

Yes. Any recurring or pre-authorized charges you have on your current card will need to be updated to the new card number.

When will I receive a new card?

New cards will be mailed out to all cardholders in late January and early February and can be activated beginning February 18, 2026.

What if I didn't receive a new card?

There could be a few reasons you didn’t receive one, such as your mailing address needing to be updated in our system, arriving late in the mail, etc. If you haven’t received a card, please contact us at 303-427-5005 and we can check for you.

Will my current card continue to work after the conversion?

No, existing credit cards will no longer work after February 17, 2026.

What is a "contactless" or "Tap to Pay" enabled card?

Contactless cards have special computer chips in them. This enables you to “tap” your card when using an ATM or store’s checkout terminal that has a contactless symbol. Contactless cards help prevent fraud caused by skimming devices placed on ATMs and other terminals, as well as providing more efficient usage.

How will the new cards be activated?

Cards can be activated by calling the phone number listed on the card beginning February 18, 2026.

Will the new cards work with digital wallets?

Yes, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay are available. Check out our step-by-step instructions.

Will I need to re-enroll my card in my digital wallet (i.e. Apple Pay, Samsung Pay)?

Yes, due to the card number change, all debit cards will need to be re-enrolled for use in mobile wallets. Check out our step-by-step instructions.

What should I do with my Mastercard Debit Card?

Your Mastercard Debit Card can be destroyed, shredded or returned to any branch for destruction once you have activated your new Visa Debit Card.
